An Australian is investing in a resort (I omitted what type of resort to avoid triggering comment filters) in Sri Lanka so the Australians are more sympathetic to Sri Lanka’s situation. Also any new war is going to send thousands more refugees flowing towards Australia so they want to avoid that.
