In October Centre for Contemporary Culture, Esther Vivas gave on 14 December conference in Seattle, Km.0. Ten years in response to globalization, organized by the Institute of Territory in the city of Valencia.
Vivas analyzed achievements for global justice movement ten years after its emergence in public demonstrations against the World Trade Organization in Seattle in 1999, and the characteristics of the movement of movements, the impact of movement anti-social forums and experiences globally and locally.
In the second part of the intervention, Esther Vivas challenges posed by social movements in the context of the current crisis, the turning point marked by a general strike on 29 September and deepening social cuts across Europe.
