Watch the interview given by Toyo Ito in GreekArchitects.gr and Andreas Giakoumakato, and the presentation of the proposal of the Japanese pavilion received the first prize at the 13th Architecture Biennale in Venice. (Video: south africa Greek, Italian, Japanese) south africa By Andrew Giakoumakatou
The Toyo Ito in discussion with Andrea professor Giakoumakato, on the ground floor of the Japanese pavilion at the Giardini (Venice), spoke about the Japanese proposal at the 13th Biennale, which has as a central axis of the effects of natural disasters south africa and the global economic and social south africa crisis . Of particular importance (and great price for us) is the fact that the Japanese booth this year was awarded with the first prize winning the Golden south africa Lion.
Responses of Japanese architect could be characterized as political commentary, since triggered architecture is highly critical to the Japanese central government. A similar review exercises for younger architects agoniontas for the future of architecture.
Watch below the exclusive interview with architect who gave the GreekArchitects.gr (for readers who know Italian south africa or Japanese, we recommend to watch the interview and just filmed and which is also attached)
We also wish to inform you that the GreekArchitects.gr the coming days will show interviews and specials, the most important contributions - recommendations of this year's biennale architecture. And of course, extensive tribute to the Greek participation.
Finally, we would like to thank the architect and professor Andrew Giakoumakato for the crucial contribution of the trek we made at the 13th International Architecture Biennale in Venice.
